Riki became actively involved in the insurance business in the early 1960s. A succession to his father Wilfred Gougeon, he continued the family tradition. It is with his expertise and forward-thinking that the brokerage has expanded nationally.
Riki has affected a number of innovations in the insurance field through his involvement in the 
political arena and insurance associations.
After handing over the reigns to Judy Gougeon, he currently remains a consultant to Gougeon Insurance Brokers and is involved with international consulting for insurance programs in Ireland and in England.
In Riki's spare time, you can find him at camp enjoying his time with his grandkids.
